Lebanese Delicafe'

After seeing your review about Lebanese DeliCafe I thought to myself I have to reply and put things right. As you are entitled to your opinion and I do respect it, I think you are working for the Lebanese Express or you have some sort of relation with them. First it is unethical to put one business down to bring another up. Second I do believe that you know nothing about Lebanese food. The mixed mezze you are talking about served cold, this how suppose to be served. It is served at room temperature. You have paid £7.00, this is a bargain for a good quality food. I feel strongly about it because I am local to Lebanese DeliCafe and I enjoy eating in this place. Food is prepared fresh on a daily basis. Unfair and untrue comments like yours will put business owners at risk of loosing their clients. Myself and colleagues we are so pleased that we have a little gem like the Lebanese DeliCafe in Surbiton. My advice to you next time, do not slag a hard working business owner, instead have the decency to say it in his face and put your comment to him directly so he can rectify it if there was an issue.

This little cafe is an absolute gem. Having had a relationship with a Lebanese man for five years when I was younger I know how authentic the food is here. It is a joy to go in and chat and the owner will happily make up any combination I ask for. He will even stay open late if 2 or 3 of you want a special early evening meal at one of the little tables. The chicken Shawarmas are fab. There aren't enough of these unique little independent places around these days. What a joy this is.

I ordered a take away of all the starters and the Lamb main meal for people who all knew about good Lebanese food. Everybody was impressed. I live in Portugal but when I visit the U.K again I will be sure to visit this wonderful place again. Thank you to the wonderful owner and his lovely family.

Houmus and falafel platter served with ayran is first class. It is all made fresh and tastes delicious. The total cost was just £7 which is very reasonable.

Friendly staff and fantastic food. Also, you must try the signature tea. Highly recommended. I ll go back there again.
