L'Éden - Reservar una mesa

We booked L 'Eden based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and I have to say we were disappointed. Whilst the starters and dessert were fine the main course of John Dory was a let down. In fairness, the fish itself was well well cooked and succulent, however....it was served on top of a bowl of what looked like a collection of left-over vegetables and quinoa swimming in a sauce that was so acidic with citrus juice it could have been used to clean the ovens with. My wife and I had dinner here in mid September although the season on the Fleurie Coast was winding down, it was packed. That should not have surprised us since the meal we enjoyed was excellent. Menus are emphatically French: two set menus provide good value. Our four course €33 set menu was well chosen and centred around a main of either baked cod or duck breast, both of which were done to perfection, with a generous starter, dessert and cheese. We ordered different menus (for 33 € and for 45 € we chose fish options. The menu included appetizer, main course, cheeses and dessert. My sea bass with polenta was great. Delighted desserts, especially light cheesecake. The staff made a very good impression.

very nice and calm atmosphere; friendly and professional service. the food was excellent ! we found and visited this restaurant based on comments in Tripadvisor; otherwise we probably would not have found it, not in the main streets of Houlgate

Great food with a very pure taste. Price/ quality-ratio is excellent. Would go back any time and recommend it to everyone!
