Lee Esther's Creole Cajun Cooking

You know how you sometimes get hooked on a specific dish? During my numerous visits, I've mostly gone for the Jambalaya (though I did try the Louisiana Cajun Bowl once). This time, I ordered the catfish with beans and rice, along with collard greens, and it was expertly prepared—truly top-notch. Unfortunately, it seems Yelp doesn’t allow for a six-star rating, so I’ll have to settle for giving it five stars. But honestly, it was beyond impressive.

"I can understand why this establishment has been around for so many years. The food genuinely tastes like home cooking, reminiscent of Louisiana cuisine. The customer service here is fantastic! The food is delicious, but be cautious when ordering your spice level—it can be quite spicy, although the flavor is amazing! It really feels like you’ve stepped outside of Palmdale, and I love the atmosphere. It’s simple but just right.
