We decided to try this restaurant yesterday. When we got there at around 5:30, the place was empty. Turns out they had just opened the dining room two days ago. The owner/server told us that they were more popular for take-out.It was kind of a "no frills" experience from a service point of view. The server pulled some take-out menus from the cash. There wasn't much conversation at first and we were left to figure out what we wanted. She did bring us water.We ordered beef lo mein, vegetable fried rice, s/s chicken balls and curried vegetables and requested no MSG. There was a little hesitation over the MSG request but I think that is what we got.My only complaint about the food was that the chicken balls were HARD. The flavour was good though.All of the portions were generous and flavourful. The best we have had in North Bay for some time.We chatted with the owner a bit more toward the end of our meal and she offered to box up our leftovers.The price was reasonable and the food was very good. I would like to see the chicken balls more crispy and not as hard as they were. The sauce was very good.
