I was pleasantly surprised by the low crowd during lunchtime on a Friday at Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken. I walked right in and placed my order, and my food was served promptly. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was clean. I tried the spicy chicken broilings, which, despite lacking the typical reddish hue, had a delightful kick that I loved. They were delicious! The mac and cheese was also quite tasty. If you're in the mood for chicken, this place is definitely worth a visit.
I have eaten at Lee?s many times over the years. It?s the family favorite fried chicken place for a reason. Not so with tonight?s meal: 10 piece dark meat bucket with 2 sides 5 biscuits. None of the pieces were crispy. I was sooo looking forwardto that crispy yummy-ness. Soggy. 1 piece was a chicken drummy masquerading as a leg. And the leg was the only leg in the box you can see it next to the wing. Finally, the gravy was lumpy. Come on guys! You can do better!
I was quite surprised there was not more people here it was lunch time on a Friday and I walked right in and ordered. My food was out quick and the service was good the place was clean and the spicy chicken breast tenders although they didn't have thetypical reddish tinge to them had a little heat which I like they were delicious and the mac-n- cheese was also good it's wortha stop if you're looking for chicken.
It was pretty late when I went I ordered the 5 PC wing snack original. The wings were tiny, so they gave me those 5 plus 2 crispy I guess to make up the quantity. I just wish they communicated that that's what they were doing. The crispy is too spicy. Reserva una mesa ahora
Chicken was so dry and it was old tasting. Biscuits and the grape jelly tasted molded or some. The drink was watered down. I got a different flavor and that was watered down too ! I wouldn?t return to this location!
We used to visit quite often but within the past year the service has become unbearable. It has become extremely slow. We don't go any more which is sad because we love their food.
Third time been here food cold then they lie and say we just pulled it up not gross done stay away from this cold chicken place ????????
