**Update: July 2024** – $8 for a 10oz pour of lager? That’s a bit steep, even for NYC! This is a fantastic pub, though its location is a bit unusual. Be careful; it’s easy to rack up a tab here quickly! Otherwise, I’d be visiting even more often. The tap selection is among the best in the area, and Kelsey does an incredible job curating it—she's truly outstanding. Bradley is also fantastic and absolutely irreplaceable. We had a group of 9 people and the service was excellent. We were seated together, which could have been a challenge since we arrived at different times, but the servers handled it with ease. They were clearly experienced with handling large groups. The food was fantastic and arrived quickly. Overall, it was a great experience. Parking was ample and free. The restaurant is highly recommended for a dine-in lunch, with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person. Recommended dishes include the Fish N Chips, lph Chopped Salad, and Southern Man Burger. A meal that was $66 consisted of 4 oz of processed crab dip fresh out the vendor supplied container. Promptly microwaved and served. Fish Chips were tasteless and fish mushy. Served 10 French fries. Roast Beef Sandwich was served fresh CANNED mushrooms. Aus Jus made to order from bouillon with a supposed horseradish spread that was left under hot light separating egg from oil. Do not recommend. I loved that they clearly had a gluten free item on their menu. I came before hand and they confirmed the salmon salad was gluten, dairy and soy free. It was pretty tasty, not fantastic, but I'd eat it again. My wife had the fish and chips, she said it was good, but not great. The seasoning on the fish was unremarkable and the fries were good, but not great. They do use latex gloves, so if you gave a latex allergy, be careful.
The fried green tomatoes at this restaurant are the best I have ever had. I will definitely be looking for a similar recipe to try at home. The portion sizes are generous and the service is excellent. The overall dining experience, including the atmosphere, is top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant.
