Legend Hot Chicken Hawaiian Gardens offers fantastic food, especially if you're craving authentic Nashville-style chicken and spicy chicken that leaves a lasting burn but keeps you coming back for more. The flavors are outstanding, and the batter is exceptional. Every time I've visited, the food has been fresh, consistent, and prepared to order. I also really enjoy their battered fries—they're crispy, hearty, and not greasy at all. Definitely worth trying and a place I love returning to.
Update: After a recent visit, my experience has unfortunately taken a turn for the worse. The quality and portion sizes on the menu have changed significantly. The sliders were replaced by a single sandwich...
Food wasn't good. Food wasn't bad. I personally think there is better hot chicken around and I wouldn't go back here but I'm not shocked that people like this place. We ordered 2 of their #2 combos, 1 medium and 1 mild, as well as 5 wings, sweet and hot flavored. Total was just a little over $40, which while ordering didn't seem too bad but upon getting my food, it felt over priced for the portions. New chicken sandwich place! We ordered combo #1, which cost us $14.22. It included two sliders and fries. The sandwiches are quite large for sliders, so they can definitely be shared. Just be prepared to wait about 25-30 minutes since everything is made to order. There was a couple ahead of us who waited nearly 45 minutes due to other parties in front of them. The menu is limited, but I think that's a good thing. The tables and chairs were clean, and they had hand sanitizer available at each table. I'll definitely be coming back!
I visited for the first time and really enjoyed my meal. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the fries were incredibly delicious—my whole family had a great time dining here. The only downside was the price; with inflation, eating out has become quite expensive for me. I completely understand that restaurants need to raise their prices, but I truly loved the food. I give it a 10/10!

We ordered the two sliders with fries, and honestly, the portions are enough for two people—they’re full-sized sandwiches. We also tried the loaded tender fries, which were incredible! Both dishes deserve a 10/10. The flavors were spot on; we chose medium spice for everything, and it was just the perfect level of heat.
If you order the HOT 3 PC TENDER, be prepared to spend most of your day in the bathroom! However, the chicken itself was really delicious, and the 6 PCS WINGS were fantastic as well. Everything else was great too. They definitely weren't joking about it being HOT, haha!
I would definitely give this a 10/10 and would always order it, especially when I have the munchies. The mac and cheese is incredible, and I prefer to get the mild tenders because they pair perfectly when you mix the sauce with the mac and cheese.
The HOT tenders were fantastic—spicy enough to enjoy without being overwhelming. The cheese sticks arrived warm and tasty. Next time, we'll pass on the jalapeño poppers since they mostly just tasted like cream cheese.
