Excellent Sichuan food crispy eggplant, dan dan noodles. I've only ordered pickup but the eat in interior looks calm and clean and large, with almost an American diner feel. They also have lots of familiar Chinese takeout items on the menu, which are not bad, but not necessarily better than at a great takeout spot. For example, the beef chow fun 乾炒牛河 and General Tso's chicken are both better and cheaper at Chow's nearby. Lunch specials which really include only these more American friendly items are a bit smaller and more pricy too.

My first experience with the LofT was amazing. The simple online order and the real wonderful taste of genuine foods, without being sprinkled with a wealth of salt. The steamed shrimp dumplings (very authentic, the Szechuan spicy pig bones (amuse, and the Sesame chicken had more meat than bread (can you believe????? I never write reviews, but I felt compelled. I'll be back soon and I don't need a pied-á-terre, as I live in a striking distance.

The wife and I moved to Whitestone in November and I gotta say finding a good restaurant in general is hard but we ordered the beef and broccoli and sesame chicken tonight and was better than anything we’ve had around here. Not greasy and fresh. The driver also was quick with the delivery. Definitely recommend

Reopened since one week Food was tasty. Small portions for price. We ordered the mapo tofu: delicious and spicy. The pork chop salt and pepper was tender but not crispy as they said it would be. The Mongolian beef was chewy but tasty. Would probably stick with mapo tofu again next time.

Legend of Taste has amazing authentic Chinese dishes in Sichuan style! Loves the crispy chicken, the Mapo tofu (mind-numbingly hot), the dan dan noodles (not as spicy as expected), and the fried string beans. Also the Sichuan veggies that came free with the order were great.

The most authentic Chinese food in Szechuan. Everything is fresh and lovingly prepared, not just thrown together. Her taste buds have never had it as good as this guy really knows her flavors intimately. I strongly recommend LofT to all my friends.

Delicious, spicey if you like spicey and friendly service. In addition to the crispy chicken and the MaLa hot pot the soup dumplings were very tastey. The prices were a litle high but you can definitely share dishes.

Great authentic sichuan food. No need to go into the heart of flushing and fight over parking. The cold pork in garlic sauce is one of my favorite and realize that not every place has it on the menu.

Chongqing Chicken, Dan Dan Noodles, and green beans--all amazing. Chicken was hot, but not unbearable. Highly recommend, dining room reopens in April.

Wonderful Szechuan decisions. Our favorites were crispy eggplants and dumplings in red oil. We go back and try more. Very friendly staff and cheap.
