The staff is friendly, and the food tastes fresh and wholesome. The owners have listened to the community's feedback and added collard greens to the menu, which has been a huge success. The only drawback for me is the rice; it appears to be long-grain Indian or Arab rice, which doesn’t sit well with my digestive system. However, the food and service are excellent overall. I genuinely believe this grill is in a position to compete with KFC and Popeyes. Be sure to try the chicken and waffles!
I ordered catfish but received a different type of fish instead. When I got home, I noticed the mistake. Additionally, my side dish of coleslaw was missing. On the positive side, the restaurant was clean, but it would have been nice to have some seating available while we waited for our food.
