L'Embarcadere - Reserva de mesa

My husband found this restaurant on trip advisor for his birthday meal whilst we were in Granville for his birthday. We had pretty high expectations from the previous reviews. Unfortunately it did not deliver. We were greeted by maybe the owner, and were seated outside....He could see that we had a baby but did not get us a high chair like he did for other guests, we had to find it ourselves. We both ordered the steak, one medium and one well done. The well done one was not as well cooked as we would have liked. I was pretty disappointed with mine as it was very tough and hard to eat, having to leave over half of it. I did bring this to the waitress' attention but nothing was done about it....

On holiday we met some of our family for dinner. Table reserved we sat down and two or three times the waitress said she'd give us 5 minutes to choose, such was their consideration. Starters looked like main courses. I had the herring salad followed...by canard, with salad and frites. The duck breast was large, medium cooked, sliced thinly and served with, my choice, mushroom sauce . . . absolutely delicious! I'd say this is one of the best meals I've had anywhere . . Staff were very good, even sorting out dividing our bill on their till. If in Granville, pay this place a visit, excellent all round!

Had a good meal here on a lovely sunny day looking out over the harbour. The food was good quality although we had quite a wait for our main course. The setting was great and the staff were very polite and apologetic for the delay....It didn’t quite warrant 5 stars but was very good value all the same.

at the end of the harbour where the ferry leaves to ilee chausey. beautiful terraces and our food was very good. we had the duo-Poissons-two fish- with sweet and it was very good and an enormous ile flottant. the personal was very nice. Reserva una mesa ahora

waits for a drink with others from a late ferry next door to barman say "barked" despite standing at the bar! very bad shape when considering that they have served us in plastic glasses and the restaurant was still full!

they are turned away because they do not speak French and it is claimed that the restaurant is full, although almost all places were free. the operator does not want to earn money. there are more tolerant options near.

we had a very nice meal. service was good. that is a very lively restaurant. the menu is good and a great price. we really enjoyed the experience.

Second visit here good fresh food on 15 euro menu. Lots of fish at this restaurant alongside the ferry terminal to Chaussey.

We often coming for our friends Birthday lunch to this place, meal is nice and not that expensive, we recomend
