Lemon Grass Thai Restaurant

This is hands down the best Thai place in Metro Detroit! A few years ago we spent 3 weeks in Thailand, and since then we are always on the hunt for a great, flavorful, and authentic Thai spot. Lemongrass checks all the boxes. We drive 25 mins each way just to get takeout it's that good! My favorite dishes to order are the curries and fried rice dishes. The Panang and Massaman curry have a rich flavor profile with a lot of depth to it. You can taste the flavors! The fried rice is full of fresh vegetables and flavor. This is the closest I've found to Thailand here in the states. If you love flavorful curries, definitely make the trip!

This is probably the most disappointing review I've written. I have been to the Lemon Grass many times-pre Covid and have always thought it was a great place. The chicken hot and sour soup-to die for. Today the soup was not up to standard, it was barely ok, much to my chagrin. For lunch I ordered cashew chicken hot and three piece spring rolls. The spring rolls were excellent. The cashew chicken had no spice at all-zero, and not much more flavor than that. I was so disappointed. I'm hoping today was a bad day and am willing to go back due to past experience but I am concerned one of my favs has gone down hill.

The food at Lemon Grass is always delicious. Curry, Pad Thai, spring rolls, Tom Yum, Yum Woon Sen, papaya salad....I have always had a great experience. The price is great the portions are generous. It's small and intimate. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you have questions. If Thai food is your thing definitely come here! PS the Thai tea....so good I get one with my meal and one to go!

Came with a friend for dinner and we both left very satisfied. Restaurant is tiny, but comfortable. Staff is very friendly and you can tell many people order takeout! I enjoyed my food and thought everything was yummy. Will be back if in town! : Reserva una mesa ahora

My new go to Thai spot. Came here two days in a row because it was so fresh and yummy. The drunken noodles and spring rolls are my favorite so far! Can't wait to try more of the menu

We are visiting from California. We did an online pick-up order, which worked perfectly. The food was fresh and flavorful. My family enjoyed and already wants to go back.

Loved loved loved my experience at Lemon Grass! The food was excellent, the service was wonderful, and the ambiance was great! I highly recommend the Red Curry dish.
