We have been to many Thai restaurants across the UK and have usually been pleased and enjoyed the food. We were visiting Chichester for a few days and saw the very good reviews for Lemongrass so decided to give it a try. We ordered one of the set menus and some drinks. The restaurant was very pleasant and the staff were very friendly. Our waitress was called Sandy and she was very bubbly and lovely. The food was amazing from the first to the last course. Every dish was perfect. My husband commented that ‘Even the vegetable dish was excellent’. Lemongrass rounded off our visit to Chichester perfectly. Would recommend to anyone visiting Chichester. I’m sure the locals know what a gem they have...
The Famous five visited this Lemongrass restaurant yesterday and we were not disappointed !! We had a mixture of starters including Pu Nim,Prawn Tempura and Tum Yum soup which were all delicious. We then decided to have the duck with pancakes which was disappointing) but we tried it !! Our main courses was a mixture of Spicy Beef Salad, Sizzling Seafood and yes it was breathtakingly sizzling), Sticky I Am Chicken, Phad Thai Jumbo Prawns with side of various noodle and rice dishes. All the food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious even if it was a little under descibed on the menu ! Overall we enjoyed our visit and our table side entertainment and its now ticked off our list
Lemongrass shows promise but falls short, receiving three stars for two key reasons. Despite booking by email as instructed on the website three weeks in advance, there was no response. It would be more efficient to advise customers to make reservations by phone. The food exceeded expectations, but after finishing our main course, no one checked if we wanted anything else or even brought the bill promptly. While the staff were helpful when approached, the lack of attention to these details is disappointing. Addressing these issues would easily elevate the dining experience to a five-star rating.
We love Thai food…and we were delighted to eat at this restaurant! A very warm welcome by smiling staff took us to our choice of table. It’s was an detailed menu which did take a bit of getting used to. The prices are very reasonable. Our food was excellent, good sized portions, well presented….and very tasty! We thoroughly recommend this lovely restaurant!

The delivery service was through Deliveroo. The food was still good and delicious, as usual. However, the prices have gone up significantly. The Issa Dynamite dish that we ordered last time for £20 came with 2 servings, but this time it only had one serving, making it £5 per prawn. It was good, but not worth that price. Overall, it was disappointing.
Went here after rugby at Chichester RFC, the excellent staff had sorted us out a large table, thanks. Very clean and tidy place. We had fixed menu option B, really good food, great value and a lot of it. Wine was good, beer was OK. We all liked it, will be back again
I had a wonderful birthday dinner tonight. The food was amazing, but the best part of the evening was the special birthday surprise from May. It was a hilarious and entertaining performance that had everyone in stitches. Truly fantastic!
Mother and father in-law had never had Thai food before, so took them out. Great food, great environment and the best service in years (ever according to my daughter)! One very happy family of three generations.
