I pre-ordered a takeaway collection a day ahead for I arrived at and was told it’d be ready “soon”. An hour later I left with no food. As did other people in the gradually building queue. One of those who requested a...refund had been waiting nearly hours. The staff literally didn’t care. They just kept shrugging and saying “soon” with the occasional meek “sorry”. Tip for the establishment be honest. If you’d said when I walked in “we are very busy and seriously understaffed. Would you be ok to wait?” then I would’ve said no and wouldn’t have wasted an hour of my evening. Or perhaps they could have called me to save my wasted trip out. Or apologised and offered me something to make up for it...
Booked an order for New Year’s Eve at pm for pick up. Arrived before and for the next hour no food and constantly lied to with unfulfilled promises of It will be soon or ready shortly. Having paid when order phoned ,...at said I could wait no longer so cancelled the order and asked for refund. Told only manager could do this but yet again lied to as no food or manager appeared. During this time people arrived having ordered home delivery hours earlier with no delivery made . Other people around me also walked out . I made a reservation for a table for four and we sat outside. The service was slow initially but became more attentive over time. We are fans of Thai food, but unfortunately, the dishes we tried were not impressive. The coconut rice and papaya salad were particularly bland. When my King Prawn main course arrived, it was evident that it was not high quality - the sauce was bright orange and the prawns seemed to be frozen. Fortunately, we were offered a discount as they were promoting their new opening.
I ordered from here on Saturday and was EXTREMELY disappointment by the food and service. It wasn’t even just not nice- more than one dish was totally inedible. It cost a fortune too and when I called to complain they said someone will call me...the next day for a refund but no one did. I called the next two days in a row and my call was never answered or returned. I’ve never ordered from here before and never will again.
Just moved to the area and really wanted a good Thai delivery. Took and hours to arrive and had to go out in the rain to tell the driver where to come even though sat nav is accurate. The green curry and stir...fry were “alright” but the starters were disgusting. Tasteless, cold and rubbery. Three curries, two rice and a selection of starters ! Never again lemongrass you had your chance and you blew it big time !
The Thai takeout from this restaurant was terrible. The food was bland, gloopy, and lacked flavor. Additionally, several dishes in the order were incorrect. This has consistently been a disappointing experience and we only ordered from here because Kemp Thai was closed. We have decided to not order from here again. It's a shame, as they should strive to be better and put in more effort.
We ordered our New Year’s Eve the previous day. When we went to collect our food they made us wait for almost two hours so we decided to leave as they wouldn’t tell us when the food would be ready. They did not apologise once....Awful attitude. They ruined our family meal. We won’t be coming back.
