Sometimes you don't have much choice. You've gone a long way to get to a restaurant and there aren't many alternatives. Well, thankfully that is not the case at the harbour strip in St Denis. There are five or so restaurants right next to eachother,...and they all look similar. Thankfully, because L' Empannage is defenitely not a place a would visit twice. The food is mediocre, sloppely presented and bland. The pizza's are acceptable, but only just. But the big letdwon are the seafood dishes. It is truly amazing that you're sitting meters from the sea, and thay don't seem to be able to serve fresh (as in: not defrosted) sea
Great location to enjoy lunch or dinner. We enjoyed a friendly welcome, superb beer and the best Mules and frittes ever. Wonderful views of the prety harbour. Ice cream to die for a caramel horn!
diner with family on the very hearty pizza terraces, fried mussels also available and special mention for good moritosbians more nice than the big dock cavalry 17.
The staff is very nice. the map, although limited (seafruits, of course, but also excellent pizzas) is quite honest for a good little meal with family or friends.

Not the the worst toilet in the world, see the pictures, but... see the picture Mussels OK. Colds fries... Wine ok.. Drinks very long to come first drink)
Lovely staff. Delicious pizza and pasta. Good quality wine. A lovely relaxed atmosphere and a view of the marina. Highly recommended.
small Italian restaurant, very good. simple but very good kitchen. reception and perfect service, we recommend for the whole family
Enjoyable lunchtime meal. Good value menu with oysters and moules. Efficient service. Good with kids and outside terrace seating.
