Lena's Wood-fired Pizza Tap

Decided to stop for lunch based on Yelp reviews while in town for my daughter's graduation from Georgetown. Everything was amazing! We were immediately impressed when we walked in. It was obviously a pretty new place, and looked cool. The staff greeted us very warmly, as did our waitress. She (Aleksandra was very attentive, polite and friendly. Excellent service! The four of us shared a couple of pizzas and squash ravioli (if I remember correctly or was it gnocchi? . Delicious, all of it! Five of us had a great time. Great food. My brothers giant meatball and spaghetti lived up to its reputation. Daughter and her boyfriend and I loved our Sausage and Peppers pizzas. Only possible negative would be that it's loud, but a very happy loud. Just a tough loud for my aging baby boomer hearing to discern conversation. And that's MY problem, not Lena's! And great beers and drinks. Highly recommend.

Lena's was highly recommended by friends, and I totally agree. The space is interesting, as were the variety of seating arrangements. Our service was outstanding. The specialty cocktails were different and very good. I enjoyed my Italian eggs Benedict, and our pizza was outstanding. Definitely worth a visit.

The moment i walked through the door i was greeted with a smile and from that point on i wasn't disappointed. I got an honey ghost pepper pizza with kale and some drinks with friends. During the entire time Xiao was great with our group and was a joy to have around. 10/10 would go again!
