I am an occasional visitor to Hadleigh and have haddock and chips at Lenny’s twice. The second was yesterday and they were just as good as the first so it was no flash in the pan, boom boom. It doesn’t seem to get the trade Grays up the road does but it’s hard to believe it’s any better. The portions are good, the fish and chips well cooked and the menu has what you would expect as well as interesting items, including a Beano box for kids. The place is spotless. I will return.
We thought might give them a try. Such a shame when the staff underestimates the customers. Disappointed. The fish was dry and overcooked (burnt) the chips were raw inside and burnt on the outside. Maybe because I’m not a regular. Maybe that’s why I’m not a regular. Shame
The takeaway fish and chips were excellent-lovely fresh fish and really crispy batter-perfect! You can book online, but have to pay extra to do this, so my husband just went and picked them up and didn't have to wait long at all.
I've never eaten at Lennie chip shop in my home town, they were OK but some seem to be a little hard not cooked through. Otherwise the rest was OK. A very clean shop and nice customer service. Reserva una mesa ahora
Superb food! Rare my partner and I would finish a fish and chips takeaway but this was not only fantastic quality but also perfect portion sizes. Fast service too
The truth is there is always somewhere better and this is my verdict with Lenny's I've had better
The app to order is brilliant. Food was ready on time. Very tasty and would definitely return.
