My mom brought me and my brother here maybe 20 years ago when we were kids and I have very vivid memories of sitting at the counter with a corn on the cob absolutely swimming in butter. Well, here I am all these years later with my mom, my brothers and my brothers kids eating corn on the cob that is swimming in (much much less) butter. And it is just as wonderful of a spot as I remember. We found a picnic table outside, the waiters came by and took our order, and not long later we had all of our greasy food on paper plates and plastic baskets in front of us. We got a bucket of steamers that my mom had to teach us how to eat, a basket of fried clams, a few cheese burgers, and a few corn on th...

I have to say I am so disappointed... Working in the area I have always heard Leno's was a historic local spot for good seafood. I've tried many times to come in, but never had the chance until now. Inside is dated, very dated, but it adds to the charm in my opinion. I opted for the fried clam meal with fries and harder sauce. Portions are good, but it's alllll frozen food! There is a freezer inside with all of their products, right our in the open. It reminded me of the frozen food section at my local grocery store. Nothing is fresh at all! To say this was a disappointment is an understatement. Frozen clams, with frozen fries, and a can of soda... To top it off m, everything was bland. No s...

Got here at Greasy Nick 's , Leno 's Clam Bar. It was a chilly 71 a relief from the 80s and 90s. I skipped from having my dozen clams and cheese dog. I went straight for cheeseburger with grilled onions, french fries, and corn on the cob. Everybody ordered the same cheeseburger and french fries. My grandson ordered fish and chips and we ordered chicken fingers put my two baby dollies. My four year-old and two year-old great granddaughters. There was only one other table of four people so we got our food pretty quickly. I 'm glad we were able to get her again before the end of the summer. You should get here before they close again.

Fried clams! There aren’t many places that serve them, and these are fantastic! It’s one of our favorite spots for fried food. We tried to visit a few times recently, but they were closed. Luckily, we happened to drive by on Father's Day, and they were open. We enjoyed a relaxed meal in honor of Dad. We got a huge basket of clams and fries for $15 (we ended up with four baskets at our table), along with a hamburger and onion rings. The burger can be topped with grilled onions, which is delicious! It's a bit greasy, but that's what you come here for! Just a heads up: be sure to bring cash. Reserva una mesa ahora

I don't understand the excitement surrounding this place. The tables were dirty, the condiment bottles were sticky and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and the staff was unfriendly. The seafood was mediocre, and the bathroom was unclean. My husband ordered shrimp, which were just okay, while the fried clams I had were nothing to write home about. The fries were actually the highlight of the meal. However, the corn on the cob was old and tough—corn should never be like that.

Good local outdoor dive. Have been going here for 30 yeard. Good cheeseburgers, good fried shrimp. Fried clams are ok now, used to be grrat. They also used to have fresh delicious corn on the cob. Unfortunately, now the corn is a frozen brand and mealy surprisingly awful. I guess no one wants to pull husks anymore. Needs to raise the quality of the food and stop buying frozen corn on the cob!

Yes, this is truly a dive. It's a cook shack with about 40 seats for outside dining. Fried clams fried oysters hamburgers. All pedestrian foods but that's not why you go there. It is replete with history and every local New Rochellian idolizes this place. You really just have to go.

You know .... You don't put things on the fryer until the oil is hot. My fried fish was so oily it was like eating a wet sponge.... I threw it away. Not healthy. Kids were cooking when I went . Last year was totally different Reserva una mesa ahora
