Reading the other reviews, we wonder if we are talking about the same restaurant. Or maybe we came across a day without it! After a gazpacho which had nothing Andalusian but more water flavored with tomato and pepper, we were informed that our main course was unfortunately not recorded in the system. When our beef tagliata finally arrives, cold and tasteless, they reheat it for us but the damage is done. The pleasure is no longer there as it probably wasn't there this evening for the cook. Thanks to the adorable waitress who is at the front for her commercial gesture.
I needed lunch and they had perch in an unusual way (rouille sauce, thyme roast potatoes). Thought I'd give it a try instead of the usual opposite burger place. Small portion (probably 2 small potatoes cut in bits, a few perch fillets), no veggies. Overcooked fish. Hungry when I left. When I told the waitress she asked if I wanted a pudding. Expensive for what I got, even at Swiss standards. Excellent local wine, though (also not cheap).
Nice place, good food. Some of the prices are clearly too high: a cream risotto for a child for 23 SFR cannot be justified given the quantity offered. A cheese plate for 15 SFR with little tuttiftrutti (n=1 small nut) is shabby. Despite fine cuisine, what is on offer is a disappointment. Impeccable service, the food is good, but not mind-blowing (do not recommend the trout, the starters are all worthy , generous portions, impressive choice of local and high-end wines.
