Italian Cookies are just so-so. There are better Italian Cookies to be had. The real Italian cookies are made in Brooklyn, NY, not New Jersey. You can see the quality control that DOESN 'T go into these sandwich cookies. Every single one is put together this way, just lumped one on top of the other, facing the wrong way. It seems a little thing, but there 's a difference between scale and slapped together. Look, instead, for brands like CANNOLI PLUS COOKIES and NUCCIO 's COOKIES, which use better ingredients (and shorter ingredients lists), better quality and care in their making, and taste better. Leonard 's package says it contains a bio-engineered ingredient.

My wife and I tried a Leonard Novelty Black Forest Cake... It was the absolute worst Black Forest Cake I have ever had. My wife never had Black Forest before and after hearing me rave how great they are, she thought I was crazy after trying the Leonard cake. After I tasted it I could see why. The Chocolate cake part was dry. The Whipped Cream wasn 't real. Perhaps some kind of sugary buttercream or something, and the cherry was like some kind of jelly, and even if the jelly was any good there wouldn 't have been enough. I was mostly that fake cream. Absolutely disgusting. Their baker should go back to school. I will never buy another Leonard cake.

I've only sampled the cookies, so my review reflects just that experience. I've tried multiple variety packs they offer: the Deluxe Cookie Assortment, the European Cookie Assortment, and a Christmas variety pack. All the cookies from these assortments were delicious and pair wonderfully with tea (and likely with coffee as well). They aren't overly sweet and have an excellent texture. I picked mine up at a few local supermarkets and plan to keep buying them to enjoy during my afternoon tea.

I purchased one of their cannoli cakes from ShopRite, as my family enjoys this dessert. Unfortunately, this particular cake was quite disappointing. The flavor was off-putting, and the crushed cannoli served on the side had a gummy, sticky texture and an odd taste. Additionally, the cannoli cream seemed to be missing essential ingredients, such as orange zest. The cake itself had a chewy consistency that was unappealing. Overall, it was truly unpleasant. Purchased 3 red velvet cakes from a local NY supermarket, HORRIBLE/HORRENDOUS...DISGUSTING...Taste nothing like a true red velvet cake...STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND...TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY....I've been eating these red velvet cakes for over 22 years and this bakery is definitely the worst ever...very disappointing, as I sat down with a scoop of ice cream to enjoy and savor the taste...it was totallyundesirable.I'm giving it ten thumbs down??????????.

These are the best tasting cookies. I really like their assortments and have found none that I dislike. I can find them only at Tony's Fresh Market. So happy to be able to get them there.

The cannoli cake was incredibly disappointing! My poor mom, who is from Italy, was really let down by my brother for choosing it. We couldn't even finish it!

Solid cookies, I'm not a big fan of sugar cookies based on past experiences but these were on point.
