Leonidas - Reservar una mesa

On an early Saturday evening in mid-January 2024 we spontaneously decided to go to the Leonidas in Bochum to eat Greek as we were just nearby. At 17:00 the first guests were waiting for the entrance door. Most guests apparently had reserved. The friendly Greek and forward-looking boss of the house, who received us, could then give us a good table with an overview of the large guest room. The ambience of the Leonidas is a bit very strange and needy here you do not expect a Greek restaurant. It seems that there was a brewery industry here a long time ago or something similar or what it is called. All in the 70s/80s design dressed with dark wood and wood carvings and butt slices. Before the Annett Louisan concert we wanted to start the evening with a delicious dinner. Our choice fell on the Leonidas. And we really didn't regret it. We were very kindly greeted and the menu came quickly. The appetizers, also the Ouzo, were super delicious. We had chosen grilled Pepperoni and Zatziki. As a main dish we had a Hermes cellar and a lamb lobe with thick beans. There was a herb salad or a delicious peasant salad. All fresh. Nothing was out of the canvas! Too bad we live 130 km away. We'd probably go back and forth. The operation also repeatedly asked if everything was okay. But not intrusive. Like I said, it's all right here. Thank you for the nice opening of the evening!

If we are at Leonidas, then there is always the super tasty and very delicate octopus as an appetizer. As a main dish we can also recommend Kalamaria. Who wants to have a lot of meat is definitely at his expense. The staff is always great and if you are lucky, the host also drinks an ouzo; we always like to come again!

Very cozy ambience, the food was world class, only recommended. The scambi were fresh and delicious from the grill with herbal butter. The operation was very accommodating and very fast. All highly recommended and one of the best Greek restaurant I know.

It was probably preserved. Nevertheless, we got a place. Friendly and fast service. Fine Dolmades, very fine Tzatziki, gyros and grilled beef livers a little strongly seasoned, but harmonizes with rice, onions and salad.
