Leon's Family Dining

Visiting with family we decided on my dad’s favorite place. Excellent soup bar comes with dinner, salad or coleslaw, fresh bread in a basket. The owner met us with a smile at the door, directed us to our waitress and to our table. Seated quickly, drinks came and because my dad is a regular, his coleslaw beat my coffee by a few seconds. Nice place. Family atmosphere. My kind of comfort food. Hearty and large portions.

Absolutely fantastic service. Waitresses are attentive and friendly. They strike the perfect balance between checking on you enough without being obnoxious. The real star is the food. The chicken noodle soup is the best I've ever had. All of the food had a true homemade taste.

Do not love anything about this diner / cafe bad thing on the menu. Every time we come here, we have to go to Leon's breakfast.
