I have a special memory of meeting my stepdad Gary at Leo's since around 2010. Even though he’s been divorced from my mother for some time, I still consider him my stepdad, and I always will. He was a wonderful man, and it was heartbreaking that he passed away rather suddenly from cancer on March 3rd of this year. He loved Leo's just as much as I did, and every time I visit, I think of him and the wonderful moments we shared there. I try to sit at the same patio table we frequented, as I feel a connection to him whenever I’m there.
Over the years, I’ve enjoyed many meals at Leo's with friends, coworkers, and family. It has truly become my go-to spot, and I hope it continues to be in the fut...
Drove by last Friday and thought odd that Leo's was closed on a Fri. only to find out they permanently closed. Bummer!!! Always busy, and a patio seat always welcomed us for our favorite pitcher cadillac margaritas. Open for 70 yrs, we were glad to be able to enjoy Leo's for the past 20. We'll miss you and special thanks to your entire crew for their wonderful service!!!
For decades, the food here has always been delicious. It's truly sad that it had to close, and even more disappointing that I was sick with the flu and couldn't enjoy one last meal from my all-time favorite Mexican restaurant. Leo's amazing food will definitely be missed.
So sad still that's it's closed. Still holding out hope it find a way back. Its been here my whole life, and I thought it would be there for my kid's as well. He still asks to go to Leos almost every day.

Sorry to say they are closing after 75 years. Amazing staff and better food. I've been going here 63 years... best of luck to all. You will be missed.. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Got to be there on the last day . Even though it was the last day , the food , service and atmosphere were as any other day. This place will be missed. Good luck in your retirement.
My favorite restaurant anywhere! Eating there for 30 years. Recently transferred to Memphis and there is no Mexican food here at all. Planning a trip back to LA just to eat there.
Me my family ate at Leo's every week, we absolutely loved the restaurant. So sad to see the doors closed. Much love to you all!
