I haven't been back to the Russian grocery for a long time. They had time to close their two restaurants in the 16th and open the one in the 17th. the service is pleasant and smiling and the cozy atmosphere.Prices have increased a lot. the assortment of entrances for two was expensive 48€, but of good quality, however, there was less variety than before. On the other hand, I was very disappointed by the main dishes. There was a lot of la carte things missing, and we were content with a strogonoff beef without more, and a salmon kulibiak, a little old and warm, really not terrible. Despite my disappointment, I was tempted by the vatrouchka, a dessert that I always loved at home, there too was disappointing. When the boss was not yet retired, they offered us a glass of vodka to finish and we let ourselves be guided by his choices. He always fell hairy on our tastes. This time, no boss, and his wife didn't guide us. Too bad.
I know this restaurant because working next to it, I used to go there at noon. It's the first time I've been testing dinner. Overall, everything went well. we were only 2 groups of customers but the 2nd group made a lot of noise (the restaurant is very small so the slightest conversation is very noisy). waiting times were long enough while as said just before, we were only 2 groups of customers. dishes are expensive and if you want to taste the beautiful map of vodkas, it can go up very quickly.
