residents at quebec, we decide to spend 24 hours on the island of Orleans with dinner and bed at the restaurant the ancestor that seems to us to be a safe value. We arrive early, after a day of exploration. It's 4:05. the hotel master, a variant of local "woody allen" but more lunatic, seems surprised to see us arrive. He has to go check if he has a lot of make reservations for the night. not very reassured by the idea that we may be the only ones to have the idea of spending the night there, he invites us to go pick our table on the terrace. the view is absolutely magnificent on the river and the coast of beautifulpre. He assures us that all tables are free and that we can choose the one we...

I stumbled upon this restaurant somewhat by accident, and what a happy accident! I was warmly greeted; service was friendly and attentive. My first dinner was so delicious I went back the following evening for dinner again. Both times I had the pea and ham soup which was flavorful with the perfect combination of texture and spices. The first night I had the roast pork and the second night the chicken; both dishes were simple and satisfying, the meat was so tender I just don't know how they did it! Each evening I sat outside on their porch, which commands a stunning view of open fields and the St. Lawrence; with the setting sun caressing your face it makes for a peaceful and delightful dining...

3rd inn I visit the Île d'Orléans.Good located a few minutes from the bridge. Inside, the antique blends with modern taste. Inviting and quite spacious. soft bed, efficient and quiet air conditioning. the view of the fields has pleasantly surprised me. a flat on the wifi . at 11:00 and after several unsuccessful trials I abandoned my illico. A second flat, for continental lunch, non-wine hard eggs and less salty cretons were more appreciated. I sighed on the terrace with a beautiful sunset with the bridge of the island and the St.Lawrence as a view. The food was good. Peas soup and braised lamb rained my spouse. my chicken and service were warm and excellent. I'll definitely be back.

This was one of our favorite restaurants on our vacation. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the setting sun, Montmorency Falls, and the mountain terrain, but it also offers a delicious selection of dinners. We had the chicken rouelles and trout filet - both of which were excellently cooked. For dessert, the pain perdu with a blueberry compote was perfectly portioned and refreshing.I would definitely consider eating here as you make your way around the island! Reserva una mesa ahora

The chicken dinner was completely bland, the most boring meal I can remember--maybe good for a very old grandma to eat. My husband greatly enjoyed the duck. Our service was extremely inattentive but the setting and view are great.

I ate here in a group of 10 people. We were all very very happy with our meals, service, and view. My vegetable spaghetti was fantastic but the creme de la creme was the goat cheese creme brulee - do not miss it! Reserva una mesa ahora
