Les Bocaux De L'agneau

We arrived a little late and took the Valentine's Day Menu. It was outstanding ! We started with an hommardime a la mousse de quatre épices served like a cappuccino in a glas. This was followed by a tuna tartare with a Granny Smith electrifier (a Sichuan blossom that you put on your tongue before you eat the dish. It really electrified your entire mouth. Then we were served a Lotte with wonderful white sauce. Next came a filet of veal a la Rossini cooked to perfection, juicy inside and crispy outside on some delicate mashed potatoes. Everything accompanied with local Cremant and Pinot Noir. The end was a cooked at the table Crêpe with a slice of orange and ICE cream. A meal to write home about! Perfect service and reasonable price for outstanding quality. Thank you

They deserve all the praise they get, including Michelin 's Bib Gourmand. The plates are refined, well thought out, presented superbly and the service is top class, too yet very down to earth and non pretentious. Usually restaurants this good get very up themselves, but not these guys. Love the wine by the ficelle order a bottle of wine, drink as much as you can and if you do not finish it, you pay only what you consumed, they put in special ficelle (line) in the bottle to measure the quantity. Apparently it was done like that in the old days of moyen age . Fat chance though, we drank the whole bottle.

A really great restaurant . The service is first class . The manager has an excellent knowledge of wines and the food is delicious . The crab, celery starter followed by the onglet and purée de pomme de terre were superb . Bravo to you all . This is the best restaurant price /quality ratio in the Strasbourg region .Highly recommended

My husband and I went for lunch here on Christmas Day. It was an incredible degustation. Particularly enjoyed the lobster dish and the special Christmas cremont drink.

Everything was delicious, starter, main course and especially the dessert. Good food, great white wine (late vintage, vendanges tardives) and a good atmosphere.
