Went there for lunch on a sunny Saturday morning. It was great to be able to seat at the terrace. The menu is diverse enough and prices reasonable. The tartare and the cocotte de la mer we had were great. It's good we came early as they had to turn people around as we were eating and the tables filled up.
Just had dinner here as we tried La Baraque à Boeuf and it was closed.Very pleasant staff, we appeared to be only English visitors but made very welcome, food was excellent and good value for money.Make sure you order a bottle of wine as a glass of house red was not up to much.Would definitely revisit
We had a group of 5 and waited far too long for our food. When it arrived it was very tasty. I couldn't blame the staff, there just wasn't enough of them. Steak was nice and a good selection of dishes available. Really wanted the restaurant next door but maybe next time
came across this restaurant as couldn't get a table at short notice at 7 plats , this is almost back to back with 7 plats in place st pierre , food was good service good and price about average, would go again, nice place to sit outside in summer months as well Reserva una mesa ahora
We end up there because all other places around were packed. and we didn't regret our decision.Menu is a little bit confusing with the mentioning of cocottes but once you figure it out it makes perfect sense.The food is pretty good and service is prompt.
The veal blanquette and the duck filet are great. Good appetizers and desserts. Excellent service even if the restaurant was packed. There aren't many restaurants where I have had a taste of real and simple home cooking experience. A must!
Very good local food. A starter is offered [little cup of Rillette du Mans]. Food were really well prepared, and it's a true homemad restaurant ! In the middle of old town and close to amazing Cathedral. Lovely place that i recommand.
Lovely situation in the old town at La Mans. Looking out in the Hotel De Ville this sits next to some other good restaurants. Not the best service, but friendly. Great steaks and salads but I'd give the dessert a miss. Reserva una mesa ahora
A nice evening with French friends - good weather for outdoor seating and help through the menu (English menus were available). Good choice.
