At the exit of 'Arpajon sur Cère, on the banks of the river, we discover a pleasant family restaurant where, the quality of the reception is at the height of the succulent Cantalian cuisine. The quality of local products (viandes, charcuterie, cheeses, pastries, breads and aperitif based on gentian) added to the excellent know how to cook, offers a generous and friendly table where you find an authentic taste of local cuisine... Far from the boring meals of some great gourmet restaurants, we enjoyed this moment of conviviality around an excellent meal. Passion and family know-how will always be due to the derisory gastronomic modes. Long live the cantal!

Lunch from 05/08/2016. A pleasant welcome, sincere kindness and a good and beautiful Cantal cuisine! From the simple but well-freshed entrance to the main dish marrow between the coast of Salers, the blue sauce of 'Auvergne', followed by a choice of farm cheese 'cantalous' and well refined, until dessert, everything is succulent. Beautiful family that this couple Mrs and M Failles assisted by their warm and passionate son, integrates. Congratulations and continue to enjoy!!!

2 steps from the river, a large parking lot, a pretty terrace well shaded the reception with a real non-commercial smile by people who love what they do, it becomes rare... 3 hearty and well crafted menus the pavé de Salers with a blue sauce...No comment!!! not necessarily simple to find, but make the effort!!!

The menu of the day has an unbeatable quality/price ratio. Despite the covid-19 period, the establishment is very organized (even if it is better to book during this health crisis) and many accustomed, it is a sign that is not mistaken. Do not hesitate if you pass the area.
