we came by chance over this restaurant at a busy lunchtime while we went through melle. we decided to sit in the outer bistro part (the inner part is the right restaurant) as it enabled us to overlook the street and observe the people. The...whole place was cuddly, warm and cozy with a lot of atmosphere. it was a pleasant change to find a place full of people who chat with each other. the service was a little slow, but that was understandable because it was pretty busy. it seemed that there were only two waiting employees to serve several tables in a hectic time of the day, but when they appeared, the waiters were helpful and attentive. we had ordered plat du jour, which was steak in a pfeff...

We went for a birthday on a Friday night in June. Reserved a table for 8 in advance. The restaurant was not overly busy. The waiter recommended the set menu as it was cheaper which was great But they did not have one of the...three choices. We went with French friends who ordered the wine to go with each course. Starters were lovely but the wine did not arrive until 3/4 of the way through the starter despite asking for it 3 times. Su quietud y delicadeza son piezas fundamentales de su encanto. Podéis escoger entre tres tipos de menús: a partir de 12.50 €, el menú Découverte por 43.50 € o el menú Terroir por 20 € y 27.50 €. Diferentes propuestas con las que podréis descubrir los platos y recetas tradicionales de Poitou-Charentes sin renunciar a la calidad y buen hacer de sus dos chefs. La parte del hotel es fantástica. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y están coquetamente decoradas. La tranquilidad que se respira en cualquier lugar del hotel es envidiable!

What a disappointment! Really! After a few years without returning to the glycines, which was a very good address, the value for money is not at the rendezvous, far enough! between a foie gras known as duck monsoon, a cute and too cooked net (soak) and too salty that lets think of a warming of lunch, one being said to be whipped directly out of a freezer seen taste, a salad of fruit cooked with spices with badly balanced flavors, this dinner was a fiasco. we had a table reserved for four in the Bistro area, the front of the hotel. the backroom is the right restaurant. our table was in a cozy corner, with a view of the road. nice! the place has a Michelin sticker at the door. prices are very reasonable...compare to other places and that was delish! the women had the salat aux choux and the tagliatelle with prosciutto all very delicious! the service was slow, but we were not in a hurry. very pleasant and we would return.

during our holidays we stopped in this restaurant by chance and were not disappointed, a very reasonable daily menu input / dish / dessert to 13.50 eur it is really cheap with fish in main dish that was fresh and well cooked I was very surprised for the price, it is quite rare ... anyway not bad, the boss could just make a little effort on the smile and the more.

I find the previous opinions very moved. excellent products very well valued thanks to excellent cooking and mastered seasonings with character! the chef eric caillon made a great move in 10 years and he became an unmissable place during a stage or a stay at me. Very attentive service!

eating is too late. the foie grass is the best I have. here years ago and it just got better.
