We really enjoyed family eve meal here, the food was good, service v friendly (spoke English) and atmosphere very pleasant. We had a couple of house specials, one a potato/lardon/goats cheese number, the other pots/baked cheese/cold meats. Hearty tasty fare, just what we needed. Our 3 kids had pizza, cheeseburger, kids menu nuggets and chips- all good quality and all eaten (still gives satisfaction). Puddings very rich and filling!

Wee have been to Valmeinier 4 times and always visit this restaurant and love it. Its situated as you come off the piste so a good place for lunch or a quick beer after skiing. Had New Year 2015/2016 and we had a lovely time. The food is lovely and the portion size very good which you need after skiing all day. The staff are very friendly. We miss it now we are home and hope to come back soon.

We tried this place almost everyday for the whole week we stayed in Valmenier. The crepes are really good and most of all the raclette and fondue are amazing. The meals are big and the value for money is perfect. The raclette is made in the rules of the art served with charcuteries and potatoes and salad. The staff and service is great and friendly, Definitely worth trying

Service is very fast and the food tastes great. Typically, the kids got their meals first... just after ordering the drinks. Try the local specialities... eg. Raclette, Pierrade, Tartiflette, Fodu (incl. a chocolate fondu! All very good. Portion sizes are great as well compared to price.

we came here twice during our week long ski vacation the menu is fairly diverse, from burgers to pizzas, including typical dishes from the alps: fondue, raclette... prices are fairly standard. not cheap, not crazy expensive make sure you reserve in advance. it does get crowded

We went over new year's eve week and everywhere was very busy. We were turned away from a couple of other places as we didn't have a reservation and ended up back here which was right outside our apartment. Food and service were both good but nothing special.

Lovely food, have revisited the place few times after the first lovely grilled steak I enjoyed first time there. Friendly staff, english speaking enough to manage the order : Nice atmosphere, good coffee and 'vin chaud;at the touch of the ski slope.

Sadly this restaurant has changed hands, we have been coming here for years and just stopped in for lunch, they no longer have pizzas on the menu, was out of tartiflette, and don’t do afternoon crepes anymore, rather disappointing,

Excellent restaurant serving a good variety of food, reasonably priced, very friendly staff that speak English. Salmon was delicious and also the profiteroles
