I just love this place, rubbing shoulders with embassies, Parisian financiers and lawyers. It 's maybe got only eight tables but the restaurant has so much style and elegance. We found the service first class and so importantly the maitre 'd was very happy to help us with our restaurant french rather than just move immediately to his vastly better English. A very cool move. The highlights of this very personal eating experience are numerous. The wine list is extraordinary and priced at an affordable level. I don't know what happened on the night we went to Les Messugues. I see the other reviews and I am left in a confused state! You should know we were at this place in 1991 (yes, for real) and again in 2009. Was looking forward to a good meal in a warm inviting environment again in 2016. It was not a good experience no one, I mean, no one (well one other couple) dined there. Not a sound to be heard except the kitchen (a little music, please). It's only been a month and I cannot recall the meals I only remember how terrible I felt after it. And not an inexpensive excursion. Found out it was a recent new owner.
