This unassuming little roadside family restaurant is on the north side of the pretty, wooded, winding D6, near the river, outside the village, with ample parking. We sat at a shaded table and gave our order from the daily specials board to friendly cheerful Madame, while Monsieur did the serious cooking inside. We hadn't seen any recommendations, so our expectations weren't that high, but in fact they were exceeded. A generous tranche of perfectly cooked veal came folded over hot salt ham and capers for an interesting taste, carefully and inventively presented with a serrated bed of mashed potatoes on which nestled real fresh vegetables. Frankly we were at the campsite for 4 days and we ate 3 times at the restaurant. Three times very well. Very good advice by telling us to take only a pizza for 2 children on the first day. The second time, I have a tartar and a honey lavender magret all the two excellent. One of our sisters' daughters has been home to eat. And the third time we're unanimous! Bravo and good season!
The location is splendid, just off the sentier with waves lapping at the rocks? The view, off toward Cap Ferrat and the little seaside towns of the Côte d'Azur, is sweet. The service was charming and the food abundant. I did not order the menu, but two of our party did, and the appetizers were sufficient for all four.
Most 'campsite ' restaurants serve a variety of pizzas and burgers, not this one! Although they do have a burger on the menu! Great choice on the menu, excellent service, lovely setting, good food at reasonable prices, why bother cooking yourself.
