we were invited to a wine tasting evening in les roches and were never to one, we decided to go. we arrived and were greeted by the host and owner. the main room was welcoming with a huge log burner, which in the corner with tables and chairs for approx. 30 people ticked. there were 6 weine to taste, accompanied by various dips to compose any wine. a passionate moderator spoke of all aspekten des weinbaus, the choice, the search for and of course how to taste it. the evening was a great success of my opinion and we will definitely go back when they propose another. excellent food, atmosphere and hospitality. that is a restaurator we will visit again.
Very pleasant guest rooms held by a charming couple who will be able to make you feel comfortable both in the hotel and in the region they know well. The breakfast is generous and perfect to tackle the beautiful hikes that are nearby. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the time to taste the dinner which, however, seemed very appetizing. Another good point is that the geographical location of Saint-Savin is easy to reach many points of interest in the region (Gavarnie, Gaube Lake, Azun Valley... . Choose your valley. We eat at Les Roches regularly and it is ALWAYS good! A warm welcome and the food is great. If you think 8 prawns is too little, you really should go to a Wokrestaurant with all you can eat and never visit a good restaurant… The spot next to the Sioule river is stunning. In short, Les Roches is an absolute must!
I had the opportunity to visit a wine tasting evening. the evening was fantastic. the owners andrew and richard were very attentive to all and all men. that was delicious. the host responsible for the tasting, lucinda, was fabulous, very knowledgeable and responsive. You're doing great!
