Well where do I start? I am on holiday with my family and wanted to have an authentic French meal out once during our stay. We saw this restaurant on our first night and read great reviews on TripAdvisor so thought it would be great to come here for one special meal whilst we are here. I am so disappointed. The menu is fairly sparse (which is fine as I thought that would add to the quality of the meals on offfer). Only 2 choices for my kids. When the food arrived only 3 meals came out and we waited 5- 10 minutes before my daughters meal arrived and even then we had to ask twice. I ordered duck and my husband entrecote. Both meals were ok but the legumes that they came with was basically iceb...
On arriving we were shown to a table at back not allowed to sit anywhere else despite an empty restaurant having a reservation. As evening progressed it became clear that better tables were reserved for Madame’s pals. There wasn’t much by way of welcome or hospitality for the rest of us. Food was OK but nothing to rave about bill came to 73 euros for 2 so quite expensive. Full marks to young man who was run off his feet for his efforts. All in all a mediocre experience and one we won’t be repeating.
Restaurant at the height of its note that is well deserved... Everything is there, freshness of the products used, smiling and personal reception in small care, generosity of the dishes and prices below those practised around. Fried mussels at will with flavors to choose, crustaceans, fresh fish according to arrival, salads meals etc... Keep a place for desserts that, like the rest, will amaze your taste buds
Very good restaurant, very nice staff. They came back to see if everything is okay with the dishes without asking who is important in a restaurant. They even offered a drink at the end of the meal and spoke with us. Quality of very good meals, we'll be back. Good idea to book, otherwise it might be complete even in September. We had a great evening. The staff is listening (which becomes rare) and the waitress really adorable, very helpful and smiling: really nice. The mussels are generous and excellent and the homemade fries are a delight. Bravo to the whole team. We'll come back twice than one!
