This is a restaurant well frequented by locals and is especially popular for weekday lunches. The setting is splendid beside the lake close to the picture postcard village of Lamothe Fenelon. The restaurant itself is no picture but it is typically French as the quality of service and well cooked dishes are rather better than the decor. If your measure of a good restaurant is whether it is popular with local people, this is it.

great location, outside on the terrace with lots of shadows next to the lake. service was somewhat slow. we waited for our menus and first drinks, but as soon as the food arrived, it improved. good price choice from about 20 to 35 euro for the evening meal, 4 or 5 courses. I enjoyed everything without feeling full. would recommend.

a menu of the day to 13 euros 50 soup / melon ham country / calf / cheese / strawberry sauce this day.A simple cuisine sincere and authentic. the kindness of the service. Our third lunch and always delighted with a good lunch on the terrace by the pond .pas: the pond has a small beach and a swim supervised in the summer.

I've lived around the area for a few years and just stumbled on this place by accident. A nice restaurant with a lovely setting overlooking the lake. Service was excellent and friendly, and the menu du jour was top class, 5 courses with wine and cafe for 13,5€ you couldn't ask for any more, highly recommended Reserva una mesa ahora

great restaurant in a beautiful location with views of a small fish lake. we had the 4 curs 23euro menu (there was a selection of 3 set menus in the price of this, plus a la carte) and enjoyed all food, we felt it...was good worth. fast response when we receive an email reservation and friendly reception.

It is normally a fantastic place, great views, good food, lovely staff. Hence 5 stars! But it is currently undergoing major building work and is closed despite the website not saying this I went and saw it myself! The answerphone says they’ll be open...again in March 2019. See you then!

delicious, bad canteen food to go to restaurants. the frozen chips were barely cooked and the menu is a sweat. there are some excellent restaurants in the opposite, but this is not one of them. it's sad because there's a bad picture for what. otherwise a beautiful village is.

Just when we thought our favourite restaurant could not get any better it has been totally refurbished!! The welcome from Gwen and the food could not be better! AND the prices have NOT gone up. The only place to eat in this area! Reserva una mesa ahora

this establishment with its nearby lake is very relaxing. we stopped there to make geocaching but quickly, we have a coffee with a snack and let go to some rest.
