Service was brisk and cold. We entered the restaurant and after standing a while were invited to sit outside in a plastic covered area as we hadn 't booked. I wondered why there were fleece throws over every chair and it soon become evident why these were provided, it was cold. However it is hard to book when you don 't know when you will arrive after along journey from the south of France. We were handed the menus and left to it. No explanation of specials or asked if we 'd like drinks. I ordered duck breast and asked how it came. I was told it comes 2 ways and no other which is difficult to understand given that if the customer wants the duck well done it just gets cooked a bit longer, no? However I wanted mine done medium which was allowed! The wine list was expensive too, we paid 18 euros for a half bottle of ok rose. The food came swiftly and went cold very quickly. Tables remained empty in the warmth for the whole duration of our meal which was not cricket. The moules were good but my duck was a bit tough but edible. There was no interaction with any of the staff in the way we would have expected not even a Bon Appetit . We wont be back.
