A good enough menu for lunch disappointed by very expensive coffees. Our entrances to a herring salad and a tomato and mozzarella salad were both very good. Also good main salmon dishes with tagliatelles and pork rib however, the latter was rather mellow. We ordered two cafés lying at the end, assuming that they were simple diluted with hot water, as they are usually in France. We were shocked to see that they cost 4,40 € each. The invoice indicated 2 large coffee, which essentially means 2 doubles, always a high price! I asked the question but I was told it was correct! For us, coffees were definitely singles/elonged coffees (not strong enough to be otherwise). We left with a very bad taste in the mouth, feeling licked. We felt that as tourists we were exploited. I doubt the same thing happened to the inhabitants. (Original view) A pretty good lunch menu let down by vastly overpriced coffees. Our starters of a herring salad and a tomato and mozzarella salad were both very good. Also nice hands of salmon with tagliatelle and pork rib however, the latter was rather chewy. We ordered two cafes lying at the end, assuming them to be single expressos diluted with hot water, as they are usually are in France. We were shocked to find they cost €4.40 each. The bill stated 2 'grande cafe ' which essentially means 2 doubles though, still a hefty price! I queried this but was told it was correct! To us the coffees were definitely singles/cafés elongated (not strong enough to be otherwise). We left with a very bad taste in our mouths, feeling stung. We felt that as tourists we were taken advantage of. I doubt that the same would have happened to the locals.
