L'Escale - Reservar una mesa

There are many harbour-side restaurants in this area, so after browsing all the menus we chose this one and had the 18 euro menu. I had mussels as my main course and they were good but the service was on the slow side. I believe it is under the same management as the Tonton Guy and L'Islandais where we also ate and both suffer from the same problem of long waits between courses. We didn't want to be hurried as we were on holiday, but such a long time between courses becomes rather tedious. I'd prefer to have the time at the end of my meal when I can digest my meal and people watch whilst enjoying a coffee.

this was one of the restaurants I went into on my sailing holiday with some friends. It had great food and it looks over the marina. This place does not open for evening dinner until 19.00.would I eat here again YES"Paimpol is a lovely place to go, so make sure you have a look around the town, the buildings are lovely to look at.

A welcome lunch stop during our walk round Paimpol. Both went for the crepe miel citron and were not disappointed. It tasted lovely and we rounded it off with a nice coffee. Staff were friendly and service was good. Other food that we saw looked good too.

We had a wonderful and delicious family lunch. The dishes are very traditional for the region with a great choice of crepes, mussels and some grilled meat. The food was delicious, the service efficient and the location perfect.

Good food, friendly staff, nice surroundings. Perfect place to break for lunch. Fish soup excellent, so good I forgot to take a picture, but the salmon that followed was as good as it looks.
