L'Escale - Reservar una mesa

This is an amazingly cheap local restaurant, where you stand a chance of meeting many local worthies and workmen (they know a good thing). There's a help-yourself buffet to start with, often including paté, prawns and salami, occasionally whelks, and home-made rice and couscous dishes. The main course could be something like a turkey steak with pepper sauce or mussels and chips. For afters, I will always choose the rum baba, but you might like chocolate mousse or caramel custard. The meal comes with your choice of wine (or local cider). It's not sophisticated, but it is hearty, tasty, and a bargain.

We came in early July with my partner and were very welcome by the manager who advised us his formula (day plate plus buffet entry). the poison a real delight:-) more the person who welcomed us was really very avenging with us, which in addition to the meal is a significant asset. I recommend
