L'Escale Bar Restaurant

Here with friends, we stopped for lunch without booking. The staff could not have been more welcoming. The food was exceptional. We had mousseline de poisson followed by lamb shanks as a main course. The sweet was as exceptional as the preceding two courses, quite clearly home made like them, not a trace of deep freezing. The price, considering the quality, was moderate. We drank the house red. It was good. Obviously, this is a restaurant not to be missed although it would be better to book in advance. We were early and lucky!

When I fell by chance on the restaurant of M. Estival during a fishing session on Sioule, I was greeted in a professional and relaxed atmosphere at once. Typical menu and prices quite correct for quality; Make your eyes closed! (especially for fishermen, the boss is a guide to Sioule!

At every visit to the region (to fish), I arrange for lunch in this restaurant. The menu is varied and the choice is wide. The plates are copyy and the quality is at the rendezvous. Service is fast and efficient and prices are honest.

We really ate very well, we enjoyed ourselves at all levels. I recommend you really stop it. But don't hang out too much in the evening servers are way too tired to keep their customers beyond 11:00.
