L'Escale du Somail

This restaurant is new this year and I have been twice, once eating outside and once inside. It is more expensive than other restaurants in Le Somail but has a higher level of gastronomy. Service is good and attentive, quality of food is excellent and well presented with a good wine list. I have had fish and meat, both were of excellent quality and expertly cooked. I think it is debatable if the extra expense compared to its main rival on the same side of the canal is worth it. It is somewhere I will most likely revisit a few times over the summer.

We loved this place. The outside patio of this restaurant is very welcoming. The young waitress did a fantastic job although it was crowded. The food was very good. We were a party of 4 and ordered 4 different dishes which were all very tasty. It is a modern restaurant and the owner made a good job with the decoration. Best restaurant in Le Somail.

Very good food, the daily specials were delicious, for a very reasonable price. The dishes and desserts are plentiful, nothing to complain about, the staff very welcoming. We recommend! The area is very nice, with a pretty bridge and the Canal du Midi. I recommend the dish of the day! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

An up and down. Very good drinks, rather poorly tasted but acceptable starters. Main courses between very good and heavily charred beef fillet. The food is fantastic we have eaten in three restaurants in this small village. This is the friendliest offers the best service and the food is great. I find the other main two restaurants too reliant on location, poor service and average food. We will definitely be back next year
