We visited for dinner having booked earlier in the day. \the waitress was personable and friendly, she tried her best to assist in translating the menu!A good choice of wine, we ordered a half litre carafe and had the bottle opened for tasting before the carafe was poured.The food was excellent with a wide range of tastes, some unexpected (probably because of our limited French in understanding the menu). The Salad Landaise as a starter was exceptional a range of meats including duck and ham on a salad base in a filo pastry bowl. I followed with the whole duck breast, which came with a pepper sauce and new potatoes, Sue had a lighter choice of omelette with salad which was excellent.
My wife and I have just had our third great meal here and plan to go back tomorrow. It has a fantastic atmosphere and is typically French. The lady who waits on the tables is a very happy helpful soul and we have had good fun with her. I recommend going here 100% - enjoy it!Thank you for three good visits. Tres Bon!
Very friendly staff, rushed to give our dog a bowl of water before we had even sat down! Food beautifully presented and cooked. Very reasonably priced and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The waitress was very good and spoke enough English to help us understand the menu.
