I declare that the place is one of the most characteristic and picturesque ones I've ever seen. red velvet sofas and dark wooden tables. we had reserved because of the high affluence that frequents the place, Paris and not. the owner, a nice and very helpful lady, welcomed us. Obviously we couldn't start our dinner with 12 exquisite snails out of 3, we chose to opt for this "aperitive" solution because two out of three had never tasted this greed! formula from midday to 17,50 euros in this charming restaurant with a touch of antiques perhaps for woodwork, for the chandeliers, a fierce atmosphere even on the covered veranda overlooking the street Montorgueil and a beautiful cash register in sparkling brass. the dishes are good and original, the hotel master who took the orders regardless of the type of menu chosen was pretty nice but especially very professional. the very negative note: a high level place with scary toilets!
very good French kitchen, in particularly nice ambiente. the lunch menu for 17,50€ offers a main dish with either appetizer or dessert. one could choose from three different ways per walk. every walk was very tasty and is really full! the 6 chicks as an appetizer can also be ordered on demand in other sauce! we can recommend the restaurant especially for lunch, it has voted everything.
From the outside, this restaurant looks like a very good place for dinner, so we decided to give it a go. But have to say, it was a bit average and costs on the high side. The food was just ok and the service was impersonal. I was expecting a much better experience from this restaurant. There are many places to eat in Paris, so not sure I would go back.

happy to come back the snail Montorgueil to taste good cuisine, good snails, it goes without saying, a very good service made by a pretty blonde, very professional, polyglot to wish who can taste the traditional cuisine of france to our foreign friends. I also recommend this real restaurant, go without fear. !
Went out of my way to get here to be able to try as many types of escargot as possible. Ended up eating 24 snails (4 different sets of 6). Cannot recommend it enough! It's located on a pedestrian street where you can go and have a couple drinks afterwards if you so desire as well.
