Stopped here by chance on our way to Carnac. They had 3 set menus but only the €47 is available at the weekends. As we were starting our holiday we decided to treat ourselves. It stated with a chilled pumpkin soup which was different but very nice. For starter we had scallops and lobster tails both were devine. For main course I had Tourbot and my wife had a different fish both were excellent. They then gave us a plate of biscuits, cakes and chocolates. My wife explained we did not order them but the waiter said it was a Pre Dessert and was free. My wife generally does not bother with dessert but went for the assortment of berries which came with a very nice gelato, I had the souffle with gr...

During our stay in the hotel we dined at the restaurant and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is well known by people in Rennes and also beyond and on the weekend the dining room fills up quite quickly. It's probably best to book a table beforehand. The menu will accommodate most people and every dish we had was tasty and cooked to perfection. I had the seetbread for mains, it was not as classic a dish as the one I had in Ducey not long ago and was very interesting with aniseed notes. You also get served some amuse bouche with the aperitive and before the meal as well as small pastries with the dessert and all are excellent and compared to some places not ridiculously small. This a go...

We recalled the restuarant from its previous location in Rennes, when it started well but became inconsistent. In its new location outside the city it again showed initial promise an amuse bouche soup of asparagus and foie gras was very clever but things went downhill, with too many unnecessary ingredients and a bad habit of serving far everything far too hot, in the sense of having been left under a hot plate after being cooked. Scallops were good but didn’t need the potato puree, veal was poor and there was more potato puree. As the courses came they became clumsier. Wine list was okay, with some good options. Service was fine. The room is pleasant, with good views, but unnecessarily loud...

Went there for Sunday lunch recently and I wasn't that impressed. To start the room was very noisy. We were seating between 2 big tables very noisy. Also I thing it more a Sumer restaurant than a winter one as the room wasn't very cosy. The menu is quite attractive but the service was rush to start with and we had to wait 40 min for the main maincourse. Staffs were generally pleasant. Amuse bouches could be a bit finer. The scallops from Jersey could be better just plain and not served with potato puree. The plates were so hot that it burned the table clothe! and made the food over cooked. It is a shame as they could do something better if it was a better management. Not sure if I will retur...
