l'esquinade - Reserva de mesa

We ate here while staying at the big hotel - it was the right choice. Busy, friendly, good quality food, well presented.We chose to eat here than to lash out on the Michelin 'Le Pirate' adjoining (although it looked very nice!) and we sat outside in almost as nice a position as the more expensive one.(Note: L'Esquinade was closed when we arrived at around 6pm/18h but they were preparing and so we booked for 7pm/19h as they were busy later. The sign outside said they opened at 7.30pm!)

Classic French attitude, they did not like we requested the prosecco answering "we are not in Italy"Apart from this small inconvenience and the fact that while knowing English, the waiter continued to speak ONLY French with us, the place is really comfortable, an open terrace covered by the trees of the treesThe recommended dishes were really gourmetAnd the price in line with those of the rest of the island

This restaurant was such a nice surprise. Went there without reservation just because the location looked nice and found out the food was over our expectations. Mixed fried seafood very light and crunchy, the smoked duck with honey sauce and herbs was delicious. Prices were...perfectly aligned with other restaurants in the area, and the service was also kind and fast. Highly recommended

We came here a couple of years ago and had the charolais steak which was quite good so we were hoping to repeat the experience again.What came was a poor quality fatty piece of tough steak with frites covered in salt.When I complained I was offered another but declined.We were just given 2 free drinks to compensate .Not a place I could recommend to fellow TA travellers. Many restaurants to choose from in small Erbalunga. Of course, there are the Michelin quality Le Pirate, but otherwise simple and quite expensive places. Except this one. Neighborhood of Le Pirate, with delicious seafood and great desserts, and a good wine list. We didn't have meat, but those who seemed very happy. Very friendly and friendly service. Back!

The restaurant is nice placed directly at the little harbour of Erbalunga. The fish soup had no fish pieces inside, it was only the soup. The grand salad had a dressing which tastes manufactured not homemade. The entrecote has no taste at all. The coffee was good.

The food and the location of this restaurant are both good. Fish served fresh and beautiful, my husband had the special that was cured fish. The Korean cheesecake was also delicious. The service was somewhat unconsistent, but pleasant.

This looked a good spot in a charming village, but the food was overpriced and poor, mostly just warmed up. The service was ok but the overall experience left a sour taste, also no set meal option. Taking advantage of the tourists. Reserva una mesa ahora

Perfect place for a romantic diner, with beautiful views of the small fishing harbour. Excellent fish. Salty moules marinières

Fabulous food and service. Duck very good if you fancy a change from fish and kir a lovely aperitif.
