Lester’s Diner recently expanded their South Florida diner empire and opened a new location in Pompano Beach. They took over the old Cosmo’s Diner and gave property a total overhaul. The construction paid off as the space looks amazing and we found the service to be fast friendly and we enjoyed the food as well. This location for Lester’s Diner is too new to be considered a greasy spoon diner. Not so for their other locations that need some freshening up. So great to have Lester in Pompano. Perhaps the first 2 spectators had unrealistic expectations for each restaurant in the first days after the opening. I did not visit last Thursday when Lester was opened, provided it was chaotic. How could it not be? New servers. New kitchen staff. Hundreds of customers. I visited on Friday and expected it to take longer than normal and that things could go wrong. Did my food take a little to get to me? Of course. But it came hot, just like I ordered it, and was delivered by an attentive server. I have visited a few times, and I can only say that in a week things run much more smoothly. Had lunch on the Atlantic in Pompano. The service was great and the food was even better. I had the cheeseburger and although it was cooked a little more than I asked it was juicy and tasteful. My friend had one of the specials, chicken roasts and after I tasted it, I almost sent my burger back, it was so good. The vegetables were fresh and cooked for perfection, not overhauled and not undercooked. And the taste was great! We work down the street of Lesters and plan to return it at least once a month, other employees often go there. Looks like a magazine and food is amazing like the other 3 Lester. I'm so glad to have Lester's Diner on Pompano Beach. I've been there for a lot of time and I've only had great experience. Flo is always consistent, just like the other 3 locations and the diner looks like it came from a magazine page. Indescribable. Love it

Very pleasant immaculate interior with polished concrete floors and a shielded outdoor terrace waiting for landscape leaves to flower and fill. Food and service is worth a visit! I'll be back.
