We have been to Lester’s many times and have always enjoyed then ran into this one issue. We, party of 4, went on a Friday afternoon for happy hour at 4:45pm and all the tables in the bar area were ‘reserved’. Happy hour is not available in the dining room even when we pointed out the all the tables were reserved but no one was sitting at them. Did not order drinks and when we left at 5:45pm the reserved tables were still empty. We feel if the tables in the bar are reserved they should honor happy hour in the dining room.
Delicious food, esp the deli sandwiches which are enormous. Very bar-like atmosphere (as advertised….it is a bar, of course), but it can feel like ‘middle-aged white male central’ depending on what time you’re there. Happy hour could be made even better if there was a wider array of local draft beers and food specials (but what they do have is good).
We took advantage of the pork steak special. It was hot, delicious and tender. Pedro the owner is “hands on.” He not only seated us, he even remembered us from our last visit and where we sat! Jessy our server, was very attentive and personable. It’s quite evident of the mutual respect that exists between Pedro and his staff.
Great food, great service and awesome atmosphere. This is a very lovely place during games during any sports season. I highly recommend this place to hang out with friends at the bar or to sit down for a great meal on the restaurant side. Some of the best restaurant baked beans. Definitely try them.

Great barbecue and good spot to watch sports. The full rack of ribs was well worth it.
