Carpaccio of beef to start, tender and delicious, seasoned beautifully, Then we had steak, in a pan sauce made with red wine, and a turkey dish that was a special of the day.The steak was cooked well and had good flavour, and the sauce was delicious, but the quality of meat was, in my opinion poor for the price.There four 'medallions' of turkey on the plate, the sauce and everything accompanying was delicious, but one of the pieces of turkey was raw in the middle, and another had some pink bits. I am aware that certain styles of cooking turkey and chicken leaves the meat pink, this was raw in places. Thankfully no one got ill despite eating around it. Good, attentive service and a fantastic desert. They obviously know what they are doing in this kitchen but just dropped the ball on a couple of things the day we were there.being just a short walk from the town center, the terrace is charming and the setting peaceful by comparison.

Our second visit to this restaurant, and very happy to find they were open on a Sunday night - not a given in France.Food is delightful as is the location - right beside one of the small rivers that run through Chartres, away from the crowds in the tourist area around the cathedral. Very reasonable prices for the quality.

Lunching at this restaurant on Easter Monday 2015, I was warmly welcomed by the owners and staff. Lunch was excellent, with service being efficient and friendly at the same time. Definitely worth a visit in the Basse-Ville (or Lower Town) of this beautiful city!

Very nice place, very French, very French food, friendly and hommy stuf. Terraza on the river side, also very nice in side, calm and peaceful, good combinations of menus. Food very complete, vegetables, protein, and vitamins, very well combined. Don't miss it

We had the 3 course menus for 36 euros with the house wine and the we found the food delicious and the staff very attentive. Highly recommend.
