There is only one place you can 't miss in Les Menuires and that is the restaurant 'L 'étoile '. In the middle of the 'Montagnette ' ski slope, this restaurant offers all you want: a good atmosphere, SUPERfriendly service and the best quality food ever. From typical (regional) dishes to classics, there is a dish for everyone! Open over lunch and in the evening, you can choose between the so-called 'transat ' to enjoy the sun or either go for the best scenery/panoramic view over the ski resort at night.... Enjoy! We stayed at La Montagnettes which was a short hop away from L’Etoile but frankly I’d have driven a long way to eat there. The food was incredible both times we went for dinner. Damien and his staff work very hard and always with a smile. We were a big group of 15 and they looked after us so well. It’s a beautiful looking restaurant with a lovely big balcony for an apres catch up looking over the slopes which we enjoyed the third time we went. Very much worth a visit.
Returning in Les Menuires after a decade, we fould L'Etoile to be still there, right -on- the slopes above Les Menuires, opposite the little appartment village Les Montagnettes. Great place to stop for luch or a drink, and to our pleasant surprise, also open for Dinner ! Ideal if you are in Les Montagnettes and don't want to cook. Good choice on the menu, including a number of local dishes. Very nice environment to have dinner, thank you Damien staff.
Make sure you book for dinner as gets busy . Enjoyed the salmon tartare whilst the kids had the burgers . The chocolate mousse for desert was Devine and my husband also claimed the tiramisu was the best he had ever eaten . I wasn’t personally fond of the blueberry pie which was cold and the pastry was rock hard . However a really lovely evening and great staff .

Lovely warming place, staff extremely attentive. Food was amazing (I had the Caesar Salad and the dressing was delicious and quite coarse which I loved-also it was a PROPER dressing with anchovies! Food came out quickly as well so we could carry on skiing. Most importantly a good selection of beer!
My husband and I had a delicious lunch today. We sat outside on the terrace and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The service was prompt (we even had some nuts as an aperitif with our drinks). Good portion size and reasonable prices for good quality fare. We will happily return.
Not a big menu but very nice food. Not greasy mountain/tourist food. A little bit pricy but nice staff. A big Leffe costs 10 euro. You can eat both inside or outside. Nice view to the green slope lots of funny crashes: Nice music.
OMG! The food in the place is incredible. We had the plat du jour and it was delicious. Chicken breast stuffed with mushrooms on a bed of green beans with chips for 20 euros. It was worth every penny

Probably our best night out on a ski holiday. Food was excellent and the service was also very good. A very relaxed meal in a fantastic setting.
