I visited Lexie's Exeter for the first time today after hearing so many great things about their burgers and fries. We came for lunch around 2:00 PM, which was a quiet time since the town was busy elsewhere. We each ordered different burgers, shared a side of bistro fries, and got drinks. Despite the low number of customers—just one other table—the service was slow. We watched the server casually carry bottles around for a while before finally getting our drinks. I’m sorry to share this, but after four disappointing visits, I’ve decided to stop eating at Lexie's Exeter. Last year, when I was pregnant, I had to recook my burger at home because it was still pink inside and undercooked. This year, the same thing happened with my toddler’s meal—I had to cook it again at home to make it safe to eat. During my visit today, I sent my burger back while dining in, yet it still came back pink. It’s a simple request—please cook the burger thoroughly. I’ve attached a photo of the burger after I recooked it for the second time.
Lexie's Exeter has some of the best burgers I've ever tasted! Be sure to pair yours with the loaded fries for an amazing experience. This was my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last!
