L'hirondelle Creperie

This restaurant is quirky but certainly fun. We tried to leave a message to book a table on the answering machine with no success. We waited outside at 7.30pm when it opened and all of a sudden 8 other diners appeared from nowhere and we were all welcomed in. The owners speak little English but are pleased to talk. There is plenty of choice of pancakes and fairly potent cider. Everything we tried was delicious. The other diners are mainly French and were also keen to talk. We paid €55 for 2 and thought this was appropriate.

We visited the creperie as 2 friends and ordered a crepe to share and two coffees. After the order is taken the owner came to explain we should either get 2 crepes (one each) or pay double for them to serve us. Never seen such a rude behavior in any other restaurant in France or anywhere in the world. I refuse to support anyone or any business treating customers like that so we left. Never going back again

If you do not have French as your first language do NOT use this restaurant. I sent a polite request (in English) to book a table only to receive a reply in French, asking me to put my request in French. I can’t imagine the level of rudeness if we had been unlucky enough to have actually dined there! And they are running a tourist business where there are thousands of foreign tourists!

Pleasant meal with a group of INSEAD students. Great crepe. We had the savoury ones as well as a plain crepe with limon, cinnamon and sugar as dessert. Good value and nice atmosphere. Will come again.

Amazing crepes at reasonable prices. Very good coffee. Good for late breakfast,brunch, and dinner! The atmosphere is also nice.
